Getting Ready

I was cleaning out all my junk in preparation for moving to Den Haag when I found a small collection of nibs and calligraphy stuff in an old suitcase my grandmother once owned. Although she was an amazing artist, I never knew she liked calligraphy. This is my first crack at some script. I think the ink is too watery or something. That or I have no control, probably both. I really love the textures and the way the ink sits up on the paper. Thanks Gran!

I have some great news! (Well, I was told at the beginning, but haven’t been quite sure since nothing has been mentioned since I started in December.) I am officially getting hired at Ruche/Threadsence at the end of my internship! I’m super excited! It was going to be based on how I do during my internship, and I guess I’m doing awesome because they’re hiring me. I’m ecstatic.
